About this place
Diners have praised the tender rafute and noted that the bitter melon salad was not especially bitter. Deigo focuses on Okinawan cooking, with izakaya staples such as fried chicken and chicken wings also on the menu, so you can build a meal around regional flavours while adding familiar favourites.
Rafute is priced at 2 pieces for 780 yen, and the bitter melon salad costs 680 yen. The menu works for a casual evening of sharing small plates as well as a more substantial meal. Stir-fried options include goya champuru, somen champuru and ninjin shirishiri, offering plenty to choose from among Okinawan dishes.
For noodles, there is soki soba and Okinawa soba served as tsukemen; rice dishes include taco rice and a rafute rice bowl. One diner said they were surprised by the generous portion of Okinawa soba. It is also a good option if you want to choose a meal through to the final course without changing restaurants.
Drinks include Shisa Gaff, a beer mixed with shikuwasa, and awamori highballs. One diner mentioned enjoying awamori with the Okinawan food, making this a place where you can take your time choosing both dishes and drinks over dinner.
